4th Annual Women's Buddy Tournament

Enjoy this unique 2 woman match play event open to members and non-members.

Event Details, Fees and Team Formation

• Open to 2 woman teams of any member or non-member combination
• An official Golf Handicap is required-The Golf Shop will assist in creating a golf Handicap
• Entry Fee is $20 per player- goes to prize fund and event payouts will be in Golf Shop Credit
• Four Ball Match- 2 woman 1 Best Ball Net vs 2 woman 1 Best Ball Net, 100% Handicap
• Format will be explained in detail to all participants
• All rounds/matches must be played by the posted deadlines which will be set by Golf Shop
• Must coordinate and schedule your own matches/teetimes, Golf Shop will make scorecard
• Sign Up begins immediately and ends at 5pm on 5-18-25.
• The Golf Shop will determine match schedule on 5-19-25.
• Depending on the size of the field. We may conduct the event as a double elimination format with the opportunity to play your way through the Loser’s Bracket or possibly have a Consolation Bracket opportunity if you lose your first match. The Consolation Bracket would be an opportunity to keep playing and win a little something at the end. Those details will be determined later, and we will let you know.
• Tentative Match Schedule based on 3 rounds: R1 by 6-22, R2 by 7-27, R3 by 8-24

• Limited to the first 32 teams to sign up. Preference given to Member/Member combinations

• difference from the lowest man in the foursome
• All rounds/matches must be played by the posted deadlines
• Must coordinate and schedule your own matches/teetimes, Golf Shop will make scorecard

• Sign Up begins asap and ends at 5pm on 4-13-25
• The Golf Shop will determine match schedule on 4-14-25. Tentative Match Deadlines:
  • Round One before 5-18-25

  • Round Four before 8-10-25
  • Round Five/Final by 9-7-25

All matches must be played by the deadlines and it is up to the players to be fair to each other and communicate amongst themselves. Players must be proactive in scheduling and know and adhere to the deadlines.

• Continuing this year will be a Consolation Bracket opportunity if you lose your first match. You will be able to play again at least once and more if you continue to win as you work your way through the Consolation Bracket for a payout in Golf Shop Credit. This bracket does not feed back into the main Buddy Tournament bracket. It is separate.

• Entry Fee is $15 per player- goes to prize fund, plaque
• 1 Best Ball Net vs 1 Best Ball Net, 100% Handicap played off the difference of the low man
• All rounds/matches must be played by the posted deadlines
• Must coordinate and schedule your own matches/teetimes, Golf Shop will make scorecard
• Event payouts will be in Golf Shop Credit
• Sign Up begins asap and ends at 5pm on 4-13-25
• The Golf Shop will determine match schedule on 4-14-25

• Round One before 5-26-25
• Round Two before 6-22-25

Friday Night Shootout Series

An exciting individual format featuring a “Shootout” for 9 holes. Limited field events where players earn cumulative points for participation and performance and an invitation to the event final.

Dates: May 30, 2025 | June 27, 2025 | July 25, 2025 | August 22, 2025

Event Details and Fees

• June 27 will feature an additional and separate Senior Only event
• July 25 will be a 2-man event
• 5-30 Silver Front, 6-27 Black Front, 7-25 Silver Front, 8-22 Black Front
• Field size max of 10 players per event; 5:30pm start, Senior on 6-27 at 4:30pm
• Event 4 is for top 10 points earners from total of Events 1, 2 and 3
• Prize money for each event for 1st thru 3rd paid in Golf Shop Credit
• All players tee off together and one player is eliminated each hole
• Players play their own ball at 90% handicap with strokes as they fall recording a net score on the hole
• Chip offs for ties
• $25 per event, last event is no charge
• Pari-mutuel betting for Win, Place and Show (1st, 2nd, 3rd) at each event

9th Annual Swan Lake Cup Member Match Play Event

New in 2018, this is an exciting team format limited field event so sign up early. A Ryder Cup style match play event is open for Swan Lake Resort members only with an official Handicap

• Limited to first 36 players to sign up:
• Divided into two 18-man teams
• 8:00am Silver Shotgun | 1:30 Black TTs from #1 and #10

• Morning features a 9 Hole 4 Ball match followed by a 9 Hole Alternate Shot Match.

3rd Annual – The Couples Shootout Event

• Open to all Couples- 10 couples maximum
• All players must have an established golf handicap
• 2-person alternate shot format each hole, decide who tees off odd and even
• 1 couple will be eliminated per hole

5th Annual Parent/Child Tournament (Grandparent/Child/Grand Child)

Date: June 28, 2026

Event Details and Fees

• Entry Fee is $10 per player that we will turn around into Golf Shop Credit to winners
• Open to Members and Non-Members and any combination of Child, Grand Children, Parent or Grand Parent all of any age
• The golf shop will assign groups and tee times on the Silver Course between 2-3pm
• Pay the $10 entry fee to the Golf Shop 
• The event will be a 2-person scramble | 2 putt rule on the greens and double bogey max 
• We will determine tee off locations based on our sign up and who plays but younger children will definitely play further forward. 
• We will also determine some age brackets/divisions based on the turnout.

11th Annual Flag Day Tourney

Enjoy the Fourth of July with this easy-going individual event. Carry your flag as far as your handicap will allow!

Event Details and Fees

• Entry Fee is $10 per player for any player with a verifiable Handicap
• All entry fees go to prize fund distributed as Golf Shop Credit
• Here is how it works:
• Make your own groups/tee times at any time you wish. We will play Men's Club on this day as well and allow players to participate in both Men's Club & Flag Day. 
• Pay the $10 entry fee to the Golf Shop
• Add your handicap to par, so for example a 12 handicap plus par 72 is 84 strokes
• You plant your flag where your 84th stroke ends, if you finish the 18th hole and have strokes left, continue to #1 and play until they run out
• Winners will be determined by those who carry their flag the furthest.
• All putts must be putted out

The Couples Tailgater Event

Enjoy this fantastic event that combines golf, drinks and appetizers on course and fun games and entertainment before and after golf. Dinner is optional. Test your chipping skills with Night Chipping from the deck. This will be fabulous golf and social evening with so much to look forward to!

Dates: July 5, 2026. This was the smash hit of summer 2023, 2024, & 2025!

Night Golf Tourney

Have a blast with your friends, spouse or the whole family! Use glow-in-the-dark golf balls to navigate your way around 9 holes of golf at night. The course will be illuminated with glow-in-the-dark products and set up as a par 3 course.

The event will be a 4-person scramble, but the emphasis is on fun. No penalties and no bunker shots. Prizes for golf shop credit for the lowest team scores. We will also have a contest for best outfit, best decorated cart contest and putting obstacle course contest winner.

Team Formation

• 1 Pro and 3 amateurs - or 4 amateurs (Pros are zero handicap)
• The combined handicap of the team must 22 or higher
• Verifiable Handicap is Required

$65 for Members includes prize fund, proximities and food

$100 for Non-Members includes golf fees, prizes fund, proximities and food

Optional $40 team Skins Game for Cash Payout

Event payouts will be Cash

Approximate Projected Payout based on 26 teams:

• First $500 cash per man
• Second $390 cash per man
• Thurs $300 cash per man

Payout will be significantly higher with more teams participating
