Performing May 3rd, October 18th and December 6th, Bryan Edington sings and plays the guitar. He has mastered many styles of music from country to jazzy to folk and rock & roll. A seasoned performer, Bryan plays in coffeehouses, restaurants, and bars, as well as concerts, festivals, and private parties. He has performed as far away as Key West, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Louisiana, and Texas. He has built a reputation as an outstanding musician and vocalist. He also does special performances at retirement communities and nursing homes featuring the music that residence grew up listening to. Songs by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, and country artists like Hank Williams, Kenny Rodgers, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson. And even people like Ricky Nelson, Neil Diamond, and of course The Beatles. Bryan's shows stimulate good feelings and memories and raise the energy of the people in attendance. Bryan is a member of two bands, The New Electric Band which plays early rock & roll, and Soltre which is a traditional Irish band.
Mostly self taught, Bryan plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass, mandolin, synthesizer, and harmonica. He studied music theory at Indiana University. He has written several books for learning guitar and electric bass. His influences include The Beatles, Chet Atkins, Muriel Anderson, James Taylor, John Doyle, Jeff Beck, Steve Howe, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Leo Kottke. Bryan has made three CDs and is working on a fourth CD of original songs. His CDs have received airplay on several radio stations in the Northern Indiana region. Bryan has performed his original songs live on WVPE Radio and on FOX 28 TV's morning show and on Cable television. He has worked as a studio guitarist on several CDs by other musicians.
